Remove 'Shadow' Border from PNGs?

Hello, I'd like a logo to look integrated onto the page rather than pasted.  I am having a difficult time removing the 'shadow' border that was placed around the transparent background PNG that I have uploaded.  I have read other posts where a user was trying to do the same thing, but none of the solutions provided worked for me.  Any suggestions?
