Remove page and sidebar on home page

Hi, I am trying to remove the page and sidebar at the bottom of the homepage. I was going to remove the sidebar and hide the title on the page. I have chosen no sidebar layout on the page, but it will not save and the sidebar continues to show. It reverts back to default everytime. Is there another way to hide the page because this is not working correctly? The website is http://www.gamersthings.com/ Thanks, Mac
