Remove Home and Create new Menu

Hi I am quite new to this, I tried searching on all forums, however couldn't get a concrete reply. I am trying to fix two things: 1. Remove Home 2. Create new Menu. The problem with 2nd one (Menu Creation) is that once I create a new menu and set it as Primary Menu, nothing is shown. Please help me out.
