Reduce white space/padding

I found one code line that helped a little, but I'd still like to reduce what I assume is padding (the "white space") in a few areas and nothing else I try seems to work. My goal is to get the homepage featured content images to show above the fold just a bit. http://test.evergreenhomeenergy.net/ 1. The request a quote graphic in the header right sidebar widget. But it's not lined up with the logo. I'd like them to be balanced vertically. 2. I'd like to further reduce the white space above and below the logo and quote graphic a little more. 3. reduce the white space above the line "An Independent Energy..." just a bit 4. very slightly reduce the spacing in the headline area and the button size. I'm not looking for major changes, just shaving some pixels in each area a little to help visitors see there's more below. Thank you!
