Reduce Sidebar size

Hi. First of all i want to congratulate for this amazing theme. I'm new with wordpress but i apreciate a lot the accesibility of your theme. I have couple questions maybe you can help me. 1. How can i reduce the size of sidebar(1-2cm)? from what i read only on PRO version you have full width and no sidebars. 2. Can i put an image on background above the secundary menu (or change color).
