Recent Posts on Home Page

The feature for recent posts on the home page is a good one, but despite the fact that I have specified a category (called 'recent updates'), all the recent posts are showing up (ie the category I called 'Featured Content' is also there). See http://test.shields.ca/ How can I get it to select only one category.
