Rearrange Menu Items?

How do you rearrange the menu items in the upper menu?  Currently I have "page1, page2, about".  What I need is "about, page1, page2".  Is it as simple as reordering the way my pages are listed in the pages dashboard area,  and if so what's the easiest way to reorder them?  It looks like I'd have to save the page elsewhere, delete it from the list, then make a new page below the others.
