Read More Link

Hello. I need your help with two things: 1. I would like the "pages" on the front page to display "Read More" instead of "..." How do I go about doing this. I have changed the except length in case this affected it but no. I put the <!--more--> but didnt make a difference. 2. The image on the fourth "page" shown on the front page (Worship Bulletins) appears larger than the other three. Can you tell me how to correct this?
