re: updating to v. 2.0? bug in it?

Hello, I'm getting ready to update to 2.0 but I had delayed because I had found the following thread that claims there is a bug in it: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/social-and-search-widget-broken-on-upgrade-to-20 Note, that is not my thread, but it concerned me that I might run into issues when I upgrade in the manner suggested in the thread, so I've delayed updating. Should this be of any concern? - i.e. what that linked thread says about social icons and a bug. Thank you for your help! Consciousness
