Questions about advantages of Pro over Free version

Hi, I am entirely new to building a website. For the last few weeks I've been putting a website together using the free version of Simple Catch. I like that it's relatively easy to figure out but there are some things I'd like to change that I can't. I'm wondering if the Pro version will provide those options (or if another Catch theme would give me what I'm looking for. The site that I'm building is primarily a blog with the blog for the home page. The topic is on personal relationships and I want to use the blog to promote a book I've written in the same topic area. I'm okay with the current layout that Simple Catch provides, but the look is a little drab and dull-appearing for the topic. My questions are related to that. If I move to the Pro version would I be able to: - Change the size of the Home Page Slider? - Get rid of the textured grid that appears in the background of the images on the slider? (I'd like the images to appear crisper/sharper.) - In the gray area behind the Home Page Slider (sorry if the lingo isn't exactly right) would I be able put in an image as a static background? - If I buy the Pro version and find I don't like the look that I'm able to achieve do you offer any kind of return/refund policy? - Given the type of website I'm trying to create, do you believe another one of your themes might be a better option?
