Printer template

Hallo, We would like to customize the printer template. Now the print is more or less a screen shot. I have seen some instructions on the WP forum. But I'm sure there is an optimal way to do this for this specific theme. Should I use the child theme? And a suggestion. Maybe you could include it as a standard feature in the Pro version. Thank you
