Primary Menu overlaps Featured Slider

Hi- Is there a way to bring the Primary menu completely above the Featured Slider? The default leaves a slight overlap which is a nice feature if you plan to keep the Primary Menu transparency. However, if you are using a solid-color Primary Menu (like at my link below), it simply cuts off the top of the slider images, onb both regular and mobile version. Is there a way to adjust this?
