Posts on Home Page

I currently have Simple Catch Pro and I was wondering if there is a way to select which posts I want to appear on the home page. Currently, all posts appear on the home page in chronological order with the most recent first. I would like to be able to choose which posts appear there. But I would like the posts that I don't choose to appear on the home page to still appear in the various categories.
