Posts on home page AND seperate page

I can't believe I can't work this out. Here's what I want to do: 1. Set the home page to only show posts from a certain category - this is done, no problem 2. Assign another page, to be called News & Events, for all the other posts in any category, as you would get if you set a posts page in 'Settings > Reading' in the standard Wordpress set up.
