Posts not showing on blog page

Hi, WP newbie here. I would appreciate any help! Basically my blog posts are not showing on my page called 'Blog' even though I have the page template set to blog in the page settings. I also set my Settings > Reading > A Static Page > Front Page: Home, Posts Page: Blog. When I check Google Developer tools, nothing is showing in the div #main .container. Is my blog page reading another php template file other than page-blog.php? Thanks, Kathryn
