Posts Instead of Pages for Options

Love the template and customization options, but I want to know how to change some of the options to apply to posts and not pages. How would I do that for the Feature Slider, Hero Content, Header Content, Portfolio... and so on. Is that a feature only for the Pro version, so can I change/edit a setting via php files?
