Posts are not displayed at homepage

Hello, almost everything is fine with this remarkable WP theme, but unfortunately I still got one problem not to be solved yet: I'm wondering why all of my my posts are not shown at homepage under the featured content section? Every post has a featured image and certain post-category has been defined as described in manual. What am I doing wrong? Greets and many thanks, Marco
