position of testimonials on home page

Hi I would like to show testimonials on my home page, but not directly under the main image. I'm using the "Essential Content types as suggested. I there a way of moving testimonials "further down" the home page. At the moment I have a main image followed by some introduction text and I would like the testimonials after that and not before it.
