Permalinks Don’t Work on Homepage (Desktop View Only)

Hello, I've just recently started using this theme, loving it's layout, but manual permalinks typed on the homepage don't work while viewing in desk top (yet they work in tablet and mobile views). I've searched tirelessly for the answer - does anyone have a fix?
