Parallax frame theme: featured image can not be disabled on single page

Dear forum members. I added a featured image to one of the single post webpages of my parallax webside. The image shows up on the frontpage/homepage so that is fine. But I do not want that image to show up on the single page. Therefore in the "parallax Frame Options" box/section Single page/Post Image Layout I set "disable imgage". Unfortunately the image still shows up when I check the page. Strange it is not visible in 100% but somehow in transparency but nevertheless it is still there. Am I missing something here?
