Page content above featured content on homepage

I am using catch Kathmandu pro 4.9.6 and do have problems with the featured content. If 'Move above Homepage Featured Content?' is unchecked the featured content is displayed. But the content text of the homepage is below, which I don't want at all. If I check 'Move above Homepage Featured Content?' the featured content is not shown, just the text of the homepage. I am running a website with a much older version (3.1) and there it is not a problem to display the content of the page before the featured content. Thanks for your help Wilfried
