Padding around logo and search bar removal

Hello, I use the theme Catch Everest, I think its a great theme! But I would like to remove the search bar in the top right corner and to reduce the white space above and below the logo. (See my website http://vincidesign.nl) Could you give me a custom css code to do this please? I tried another searchbar remove codes but they did not work.
