Nothing Found Error on Home page HELP!

I keep getting this msg on my home page when I look at it. Only on that page. I found another forum that explained it, but I didn't understand it at all. Can someone explain this to me in simple or visual terms and SHOW me where to go? I'm a visual learner and I need to fix this ASAP, so my boss can have her web site up and running. I don't want this issue there! It has this with a white box around it, and nothing else. No search or anything. I tried to find where the issue is, but I cannot. It's not a complicated site. I don't want comments or archive search, either, so I disabled them. "Nothing Found Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post."
