Not compatible when linked through Instagram?

I really feel like I'm missing something but when I open my website through my Instagram profile link the entire format is ruined. The content boxes are all misaligned, text runs off the page and you can't even scroll across to read it. As it works fine in mobile I can't understand why it doesn't work through instagram. If this is really the case, the theme is completely unusable. PLEASE help.
