no sidebar layout

Hi, I am using the no sidebar, one column layout of catch evolution free version as a start. Can you guide me to increase decrease the width of the article. Currently the article is very narrow. my header image is 1600px x 300px. Also I am hoping to use some custom fonts. Will it affect the display across the devices. Many Thanks
