no page content if header media is set only on homepage

Hello Skandha, If I set the header media only on the homepage, the other pages occur in the menu, but if you click on them, the are completely white. And if I set the headermedia on whole site, the content occurs again. What can be wrong, because not on every page we need a headermedia. Kind regards Hans Hagmeijer
