No installation wizard

After installing the Social Gallery Lite, the installation wizard never appeared and I was not able to see anything but the settings and the page that tells me I can subscribe to the email list, no option to start a gallery. I installed it on another website to see if I had the same problem and it worked fine, so I started experimenting to see whether it was an incompatible theme or conflicting gallery plugins. I added another gallery plugin (wonderplugin gallery, which I have used for video galleries) to the second site and it immediately took away the options to add a gallery on Social Gallery Lite, so I deactivated and deleted the second gallery plugin. Social Gallery Lite still did not work, so I deleted it and reinstalled it and never got the installation wizard and it still won't work, even being the only gallery plugin. I really want to experiment with this but can't create a gallery, only subscribe to email. I've searched forums and just can't find any ideas. Suggestions? (I don't want to delete my old galleries until I can recreate them in the new format if it works the way I hope it does.)
