Need to hide primary menu

Hello, I like the option to use a menu (at the correct resolution) at the right. How do we disable the primary menu? I have built a child theme, but I can't seem to turn this off (which creates 2 hamburger menus on the mobile size). I am not using the primary menu, but I can't seem to hide it completely either.
