Navigation Menu and Slider Text

Hi, First off, I love this theme! Super simple to use, as it's my first ever WordPress website building experience. Secondly, I've skimmed through all 60+ pages of questions in the forums, so I apologize if my inquiries are duplicates. Just two questions... 1. Is it possible to move the navigation menu to the top of the page, above the header? If so, how? 2. I noticed this guy figured out how to put the copy of the slider underneath the image, which is something I'd love to do.
