nav widget not working in footer; two ghosted backgrounds on slider

http://skinclinicny.com/ we upgraded to catch everest pro so we could customize footer along with a few tother items. The nav widget doesn't work. is it because I added customize copy in the footer template? also responsive doesn't work. alot of items like a rt hand side bar and lists of items like RSS show up, plus the content shows up on half the screen. I left the enable responsive on so u could c, but generally have off. Lastly there are two ghosted boxes in the title on the slide show. I think I did this by accident but I can't seem to get rid of it. I am thinking of taking all my edits fr custom Css out and starting over, thoughts> Thank u so much for your help!!
