Most recent post shows at top with messy rendering in Pro; not in Free

http://awkwards.net WordPress 5.2.2 Shutter Up Pro 1.0.1 Elementor 2.6.7 I tried free Shutter Up today and loved it so I bought the Pro theme. However, when I activated Pro, all of a sudden the most recent post started appearing above my regular recent posts. It is also malformed--styles are not rendering properly and I don't this at the top of my news feed. I only want the most recent blog posts and nothing featured.

- notice repeated most recent post at the top with poorly formatted bullets as well as the geo coordinates of the photo (???!)
• Notice also that in the Customize view, the extra post is not shown.

How can I remove this repeated post? Thank you in advance for help.
