Mobile Menu not working on android browser

The mobile menu button when pressed displays the menu and immediately refreshes the main page giving no time to select a menu option. I have verified this behavior on the demo page for this theme on this site. Android browser on Samsung. Issue verified on 2 phones I have also verified that it works fine on other browsers: firefox and dolphin. Thoughts?
