Mobile Menu Icon opens a page

i have just installed Full Frame free on a new build for a client. I had noticed the href in the anchor tag for the mobile nav graphic. This will cause the page funkiness in some browsers so I removed it. Mainly, I noticed that on my mobile device when I click on the icon to show the mobile nav - it would start to slide in and then go to a page on the website instead. Once I removed the href it ceased to load a new page and just show the menu. Except on every other page on the site still loads the same ("Home") page instead of just loading the menu. WHy is this happening? I cannot see a link in the view-source anywhere yet the mobile nav icon still acts as a link.... Thoughts?
