Menu in mobile device

Historia! I'm developing my site using your theme, but i've found that, when using smartphone to browse it, if i open the menu in vertical posición i can't close it. This doesn't happen in horizontal. Can you fix it? Also... Is there a way to hide the excerpt in the featured slider? Thanks a lot! Your theme is amazing!
