Menu Bar Links with iPad

Hello, A couple of our menu bar items are not linked to anything and serve a sole purpose for hovering and displaying the submenu links sitting below. On an iPad or tablet, however, it is not possible to hover. Can I set the not clickable menu items to be clickable only on a tablet, and not on a regular web browser? Thanks!
