Media & Text caption hidden in editor/frontend

I want my image caption to show up when I use a media/text block together. You'll see on this page, https://taosartsandculture.org/mike-program/, that the caption does not appear. I have tried custom css and it does not work. I have tried clicking on the image and the block. Running WP 6.8.3 /* PhotoFocus Pro: Force Media & Text captions - overrides theme minimalism */ .wp-block-media-text .wp-block-media-text__media figcaption, .wp-block-media-text figcaption, .wp-block-media-text .wp-element-caption, .media-text__media .wp-element-caption { display: block !important; visibility: visible !important; opacity: 1 !important; position: relative !important; /* Keeps it below image, not overlaid */ bottom: auto !important; left: auto !important; right: auto !important; margin: 0.75em 0 0 !important; /* Theme-friendly spacing */ padding: 0.5em 0.75em !important; font-size: 0.875em !important; /* Matches Pro's subtle italic style */ font-style: italic !important; color: #757575 !important; /* Gray for readability on photo BGs */ text-align: center !important; background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.9) !important; /* Light overlay for contrast */ border-radius: 3px !important; box-sizing: border-box !important; z-index: 2 !important; width: auto !important; max-width: 100% !important; } /* Ensure figure doesn't collapse in Pro's grid layouts */ .wp-block-media-text__media figure, .wp-block-media-text .wp-block-image { margin-bottom: 0.5em !important; } /* Mobile: Stack and show full caption */ @media (max-width: 768px) { .wp-block-media-text figcaption { position: static !important; margin-top: 1em !important; background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.05) !important; /* Subtle on mobile */ } } /* Debug: Red border to confirm existence (remove after testing) */ .wp-block-media-text figcaption { border: 1px dashed #ff0000 !important; /* Visible outline */ }
