Lucida Pro: Missing the Templates dropdown

The Templates dropdown doesn't appear in Page Attributes area in Wordpress. Could it be beacuse there is not any custom page template files in the lucida pro theme's folder. How can I resolve this? I have to mention that I have version 1.2.1 installed and I prefer not to update. By the way what it is new whit the version 1.3.
