Last post missing from Latest Post section

Hi, I have been trying out this beautiful theme since last night, but it seems the last post is not being shown on the "Recent Post" section of the homepage. I looked into all the theme options to figure out why its happenning and couldnt figure it out, also i also installed all the recommended plugins but the problem still remained. Please Look into it.
