language attributes is not set after html tag

Hi, "language_attributes();" function exists after "<html > tag" in the header.php as follows: <html <?php language_attributes( $doctype ) ?>> However, it is not set when loaded in webpage (http://www.ankaratercumeofisi.com). I checked WPLANG option in wp-options table and it is all ok. I can declare the lang="en" attribute, but I think it is not a better way to achieve it. Best regards, Selma
