Issue with photo display when viewed on mobile phone

Hi, I have been using Catch Evolution for 4 or 5 years now, and all was ok until last August or so. Since then, any vertical photos I would add to a blog post, appear in horizontal format if viewed on a mobile phone (especially, iPhone). I was expecting that it may be something temporary and will be fixed with updates, but the problem is stil there, and I do not know what is causing the issue and how to solve it. When viewed on a PC, all is ok, photos do not display correctly only on some mobile devices, can it be something with the theme compatibility? (as mentioned, for the first 3 years, there was no issue, even on iPhone posts were appearing correctly).
