Issue with Featured Content After Theme Upgrade

Hi, I updated the theme to 4.3, and noticed a number of issues. I think I have them sorted, except one: I had featured content set up on the homepage only. After the upgrade the featured content is showing up on the whole site. If I change the featured content to disabled, that removes it from the site as would be expected. When I add it back for just the homepage, it shows up for the whole site again... Any ideas?
