Inserts cause Error Message

Hi, When I am inserting an image to a page or post, or when I try to change the css in the editor, I get this message: Internet Explorer cannot read this webpage format or in Firefox I get: 406 Not Acceptable This request is not acceptable However, I can make a change in the style.css file in the editor. Any ideas? Thanks
