Index Page

Today I was cleaning up a bit, deleting pages that I wasn't using. I accidentally deleted the static page that was displayed by the front page, because it was blank and called something like 'test' instead of 'index'. I have now created a new page, called it 'index', gone into Settings > Reading and set Front Page Displays: A Static Page - index. But now I have the word 'index' at the bottom of my home page content. How do I remove the word 'index' please? www.cathwood.com
