Increasing font size in optional sidebars

New to Adventurous Pro. I figured out how to use the widget to create two different sidebars for two different pages. WORKS GREAT! Next I'm trying to figure out how to increase the font size of the text in each sidebar. I've added the following to the css file, but it's not working.

#secondary .widget {
	border-bottom: 1px #e6e6e6;
	margin-bottom: 20px;
	padding-bottom: 20px;
	font-size: 14px;
	margin-bottom: 25px;
	padding-bottom: 25px;
}
