image featured content

Hi, On our website http://sinfore.hagmeijer.nl/blog/ I use the featured content. I use the possibility of total content with a read more link. This is because I want to use a bold head in the text. What I want is a picture in the featured content with te same behavior as the picture in the featured content excerpt possibility. That is: one picture on the frontpage in the featured content , that occurs in the text of the linked page. I tried to use the featured image in the page, but that does not show the desired result.
