Image doesn't display when post in excerpt view

www.awardtravelforgood.com I have the "Excerpt / More Tag Settings" set at 5000 words excerpt length, which is longer than the post. However, in the excerpt view (home page), the formatting of the post is comprised (no paragraphs) and the image doesn't show. How can I fix this?
