HTML tag in Slider excerpt text

Hi there I am using the free version of Fabulous Fluid. When the featured images are displaying in the slider, the excerpt text is followed by this code, which displays in the image: <span class="readmore">Read more...</span> How can I get that code out of the image? Thanks
