html in featured content or two columns

Hi, I tried to embed some html code in two columns functionality, but this is impossible. Is there a solution for this question? I tried to embed the weather forecast in this part of the website. That is top prevent the sidebar is becoming too long. Kind regards Hans Hagmeijer
