How to update to Kathmandu Pro from Kathmandu free

I was using Kathmandu and in the customise section it had a button "Update to Pro" which I clicked and paid for update. But it hasn't change to pro. I've tried uploading the pro version and updating to it, but then I lose all my customisations. What is the solution?
