How to Remove the Gradient on Featured Images

Hi All, I'm brand new to the Catch Evolution template (free version). I would appreciate knowing how to remove that black, translucent gradient bar that appears under the Post Slider featured images. I've looked in the Theme Options > Featured Post Slider > Slider Options and Featured Post Slider Options and see nothing.
